Official: Fuel en route from Codies
Openworld excellence promised
Fuel, or FUEL, if you're feeling all aggressive and marketingy, is the name of the latest racing title from Codemasters.
The publisher promise that the game will be a new openworld racer, billed as offering the largest gaming environment "ever", which is quite a claim.
Apparently, a 5,000 square mile landscape will be available to explore at your leisure, with 16 person multiplayer fun possible.
The game's premise, meanwhile, sounds a bit Mad Max, set in a future where the world has been ruined by climate change.
The terrain on offer will run from the Pacific coast through to Nevada, taking in all manner of diverse terrain on the way.
Plenty of mad weather will help spice up proceedings, and there will be a day-night cycle, too. We'll be taking a look in Germany later this week.
