New Heroes Over Europe from Atari
Pacific gets sequelled
Heroes of the Pacific, the popular WWII-themed flight simulator, will be getting a full sequel publisher Atari confirm this afternoon.
Called Heroes Over Europe, the new game will be created by Transmission Games, who used to be known as IR Gurus, creators of the original dog-fight 'em up.
The new title will be released in 2009 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Berlin and London will form the backdrop this time, the allies duking it out with the Germans over the skies of Europe.
Realism is the name of the game, and realistic control, physics and environments ride high on the agenda for this new title.
In addition to the singleplayer campaign, there will also be a 16 player online mode. We'll keep our eye on this for you.
