BioWare may be most famous for their PC RPG titles, but Dragon Age: Origins will be released on consoles as well as the old beige box, the developer have confirmed today.

"Dragon Age: Origins will be coming to consoles in the near future, yes," assured executive producer Dan Tudge, chatting with UK site Eurogamer.net.

The game should be out on the PC early next year, while the console version is mooted for release in late 2009.

Dragon Age is billed as BioWare's next big RPG series, with more titles likely to follow Origins; unsurprising then, that console releases are planned.
