New music videos for Xbox Live
Warner Music recruited, worldwide
Warner Music Group music videos will soon be offered via Xbox Live, the Big M confirm this morning.
Big acts will count among the videos initially offered, and for once this content deal won't cover a specific area (usually the US), and will instead be offered up to all Live users.
Xbox Live will of course be relaunched later this year, including 'Avatars', and boasting more casual market pretensions than a whole truck-load of SingStars. This video selection will no doubt enhance these credentials.
"Beginning this week, more than 12 million Xbox Live members worldwide can download music videos by featured WMG artists from Xbox Live Marketplace and watch them on their Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system," enthuses the new press release.
"The music videos will be from WMG’s world-renowned roster of artists including Cute is What We Aim For, Death Cab For Cutie, Flo Rida, Matchbox Twenty, Panic! At the Disco and T.I. among others."
