New PSP model spied

Internal tweaking afoot?

Gizmodo have this week got word on a new PSP model in the works at Sony - the product code-named PSP-3001.

An FCC listing purportedly spills the proverbial beans, revealing that the hardware revision exists, but also that there are no noticeable cosmetic changes afoot (according to the image submitted by Sony).

Internal changes are likely, still, with Sony perhaps moving to lower costs. We'd like to see some internal storage, and perhaps some longer battery life too.

Oh, and a chimp button. We really want a chimp button.
