More MS denials
Microsoft have today denied reports that a streamlined Xbox 360 is in the works and will be released in 2009. The company of course don't usually comment on "rumour and speculation", leading us to wonder whether there might actually be a grain of truth in this tittle-tattle, despite the unusual denial.
The manufacturer are said to have designed a new interior based on 45nm technology, with a combined CPU/GPU motherboard, which could be delivered in a slimline case. A release in autumn 2009 was rumoured amongst online communities.
A spokesperson for MS said there were no plans for a new system in 2009, though whether this will be enough to silence the conjecture remains very much to be seen.
