Penny Arcade game Live next week

Arcade gets rain-slick next week

Yet more word from those busy bees at Microsoft today, who reveal that the first episodic Penny Arcade Adventure will be on the Xbox Live Arcade next Wednesday.

Episode one from Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will hit the download service next Wednesday morning, and we're told it'll cost 1600 Microsoft Points.

The new adventure has been crafted alongside genre veteran Ron Gilbert, and the comic strip masterminds behind the Penny Arcade website.

Classic adventuring spiced with RPG elements is promised, and of course lashings of "adult humour" (though hopefully not like Two Pints of Lager and Packet of Crisps, natch).
