MGS Online passes one million

New reward scheme confirmed

Metal Gear Solid Online now boasts in excess of one million users, according to word in from publisher Konami this morning.

The worldwide 'member' landmark has sparked the Japanese game into life, the company plotting the Metal Gear Online: Commemorative Campaign.

This new initiative, which will begin on November 25th, will see those accessing the game rewarded with points which players can use to buy extras in the in-game reward shop.

Players logging-on during this period will have the chance to bag 10,000 reward points, while a lucky few will land 100,000 points.

A GENE and MEME expansion pack is also in bound.
