Criterion weren't joking when they promised that forthcoming updates to Burnout Paradise would change the game wholesales, the developer revealing this week that planes and bikes are to be added.

A new movie demonstrating these new vehicles has been unveiled on the Criterion website, while the new modes of transport will be added via the 'Davis' patch - due out in July.

The 'Cagney' update will be out in June, the developer having named their patches as a mark of their significance. This patch will offer multiple fixes and alterations, as well as an SUV and even a new calendar of online events.

All manner of other freshness is promised for BP in the future, the game's creators determined to continue building on the experience, it would seem.
