Word on the street this dismal Monday has it that Gran Turismo could be released on the PC platform - in order to facilitate a release in China, according to Polyphony's Kazunori Yamauchi.

"It is very, very improbable that GT will comes out on another console," the big cheese told derStandard.at. "But perhaps it comes to the PC. Particularly [for] the Chinese market."

Polyphony also recently revealed that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will be getting full damage modeling and expanded online play later this year - the full GT5 release is likely to make it out in 2009.

The Prologue (much more than a demo, by the way) will be out stateside later this week.

    Is only what Sony says that matters since the company and the game is own by Sony Corp.
