Saw game in 2009 from Brash
Unreal Engine 3 under the hood
Brash Entertainment have stated that a new game based on ultra-violent horror flick Saw will be released in October 2009, the developer revealing their plans in a press conference stateside.
"You as game journalists are wasting your lives," a Jigsaw puppet told IGN's reporter. Who are we to argue?
Saw movie plots will be included in parts of the game, with the film's twisted creators involved heavily from the outset. The title will be developed using the Unreal Engine 3, and is likely to be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360.
The films see desperate victims making drastic decisions to save themselves, the idea being that people learn a lesson about themselves, albeit while being tortured. Saw is now on its fourth film, while Brash announced it was working on a game of the film last year. A new 300 game has also been hinted.
