Supreme Commander set for Xbox 360
Official word looms?
One of the most celebrated and warmly received real-time strategy titles of the last 18 months is set to make its console debut, Gas Powered Games boss Chris Taylor has revealed today, confessing that Supreme Commander for lounge boxes is in the pipeline.

Taylor was speaking to Pro-G.co.uk, and told the British website that while no platforms have officially been confirmed, the game could be set for a solo appearance on the Xbox 360 system. Further internet reports suggest Gas Powered Games themselves won't be handling the conversion, with a third-party developer presumably taking charge.
Supreme Commander publisher THQ are apparently refusing to comment, but further web-chatter suggests they will not publish a console version in any case. A full announcement should be offered soon.
Fingers-crossed for more unofficial Total Annihilation 2 fun in due course, then.
